Volunteer Centre Edinburgh works with volunteers and volunteer involving organisations in the Edinburgh area. We are part of the Volunteer Centre Network in Scotland. Volunteer Centre Edinburgh was established as part of Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations' Council. It became an independent charity in April 2000.

The Volunteer Centre works closely with City of Edinburgh Council in the framework of the Edinburgh Compact.
