Edinburgh Compact
The
Compact is a partnership agreement between the city’s
public agencies and the voluntary and community sector.
The framework of the Compact, will improve relations between partners. Benefits will be realised through a series of underpinning principles; transparency, accountability, communication, equity and respect.
Over the next five years the Compact Partnership will publish a:
- profile of the voluntary and community sector;
- city funding strategy;
- city volunteering strategy;
- social enterprise strategy;
- a branding and communications strategy.
