If you are 16-25 and are volunteering with an organisation in Scotland, don’t miss out out on getting your MV awards.

MV awards are awarded for hours you have spent volunteering. You can get one for 50 hours, 100 hours and 200 hours. The awards look great on college and
university applications and will make your CV stand out from the crowd. Plus, it’s the recognition you deserve so why not take it?

All you have to do is make a note down the hours that you volunteer and ask the organisation you work with to approve them, and you’ll be awarded certificates. You can do this online through the MV Passport.

Both you and the organisation you volunteer for need to register . Firstly for you to register yourself just use this link. Then ask your organisation to contact their local volunteer centre to register themselves (click here for contact details for all volunteer centres).

Once you’ve registered you will have a username and password for the
MV Passport website. Once your organistion has registered you can select the volunteering role that you do from the list and start logging your hours. There’s also an option to create a personal development plan to track your progress.
